Add exhibit stickers to PDFs online

Put a classic exhibit sticker on the first page of each PDF: EXHIBIT on top, the label in large type underneath, and optional case number, witness, and date lines. Label files A, B, C or 1, 2, 3 in the order you set, then download them all in one ZIP. The stickers are added inside this browser tab — never uploaded — with no sign-up or watermark.

How to add exhibit stickers

  1. Drop your exhibit PDFs into the box above, or click to browse.
  2. Put the files in order. Each one shows the label it will receive.
  3. Choose letters or numbers, an optional prefix such as PX-, and fill in the case number, witness, and date if you need them.
  4. Pick a color, corner, and size, then click Stamp & Download ZIP.

Letters, numbers and prefixes

Letter labels run A to Z, then AA, AB, and on through AZ, BA, and beyond, so a large exhibit set never runs out. Number labels run 1, 2, 3. Start at any position to continue an earlier set, and add a prefix such as PX- or DX- to tell plaintiff and defendant exhibits apart.

What the sticker looks like

The sticker is a bordered box with EXHIBIT in bold, the label below it in large type, then any detail lines you filled in: Case No., Witness, and date. Empty lines are left out. Yellow and blue stickers are often used for plaintiff and defendant exhibits, and white is available too. Check your court's local rules for any required format.

Where the sticker goes

The sticker goes on page 1 of each file, in the corner you choose, placed upright as the page appears on screen — even on rotated scans. Choose small, medium, or large, and set the margin from the edge. Other pages are left untouched.

File names in the ZIP

By default each file starts with its exhibit label, for example PX-A - contract.pdf, so the files sort in exhibit order. Turn this off and the names are kept, with any characters that aren't safe in a file name replaced and duplicate names numbered.

What it does not do

Sticker text is limited to characters the standard PDF fonts can print, which covers English and Western European letters. Password-protected PDFs are skipped, so remove the password first. Each file can be up to 50 MB. The tool does not create an exhibit list or a cover sheet. Stamping re-saves the PDF, so any existing digital signatures will no longer validate — stamp before signing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the exhibit sticker tool free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how many exhibits you stamp.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The stickers are added locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I label exhibits with numbers instead of letters?

Yes. Switch the label style to numbers for Exhibit 1, 2, 3.

What comes after Exhibit Z?

Exhibit AA, then AB, and so on through AZ, followed by BA. You can also start at any position to continue an earlier set.

Can I add a case number and witness name?

Yes. Case number, witness, and date are optional lines printed under the label. Leave one blank and it is left off the sticker.

Does it stamp every page?

No. The sticker goes on page 1 of each file only. To number every page, use the Bates numbering tool.
