Most online split-and-merge tools send your document to a server, process it there, and promise to delete it afterwards. This one uses your browser's own PDF engine, so the file never leaves your machine — which makes it usable for contracts, invoices, payroll, medical records, and anything else you would rather not hand to a third party.
It also means there is no account, no watermark, and no daily cap on how many files you can process.
Encrypted PDFs are rejected, so remove any password before merging. Each file is capped at 50 MB. And splitting produces one PDF containing the pages you picked rather than a separate file per page — repeat the split, or delete pages in the editor, if you need individual files.

Each PDF can be up to 50 MB. You can add as many files as you like within that per-file limit. Very large documents may still be slow on an older phone or tablet, since the work happens on your own device.
